THE TWO MODELS

OEM or ODM — what changes?

OEM — Private label

Use MEIRX existing frames and models. You supply the brand identity; we keep the frame structure intact.

  • Your logo, custom paint & colorways
  • Configuration & component choices
  • Custom packaging & manuals
  • No frame-structure change
  • Sampling: ~15–25 working days
ODM — Deep customization

Start from your drawing or sample. MEIRX modifies structure, develops a new model, or co-develops with you.

  • Structure changes & new model development
  • New tooling / mold where required
  • Joint engineering & co-development
  • Sampling: ~30–45 working days (excl. test/revise)

OEM vs ODM — FAQ

OEM (private label) uses MEIRX existing frames and models — you add your own logo, custom paint, configuration, and packaging, without changing the frame structure. ODM (original design manufacturing) starts from your drawing or sample: MEIRX modifies the structure, develops a new model, or co-develops a fresh design, which may involve new tooling.

OEM private-label samples typically take about 15–25 working days. ODM deep-customization samples typically take about 30–45 working days (excluding any test and revision cycles). Both are reference timelines and are confirmed per project.

As a reference, OEM private-label complete bikes start from around 50 units, with full-container (1×20' GP) preferred for production. ODM structural development starts from around 100 units, evaluated by the tooling workload. Final MOQ is confirmed per project.

Yes. MEIRX accepts 2D/3D drawings and physical samples. For drawings, our engineers review manufacturability and quote tooling cost, lead time, and MOQ. For samples, we measure, benchmark, or iterate on them, then return a proposal and quote.

Shipment is FOB Tianjin Port (Tianjin, China). The standard flow is: requirements → feasibility & quote → sample confirmation → deposit → mass production → FOB Tianjin shipment.
